CAO Gold Maduro! Wow!

My Opinion, My favorite cigars!

As some of you know, I am a fan of CIGAR BID and sometimes get carried away.

So when I saw they had 5 packs of the CAO Gold Maduro Corona Gorda up for auction, I jumped at the chance to get some!

I liked the CAO Gold and I love maduros, so what a great combination!

And I won the bid! $17.00 for these magnificent smokes!

What makes these so good, you ask?

CAO Gold Maduro combines the mellow long-filler combination of Nicaraguan tobaccos and wraps this dark and toothy Brazilian Maduro leaf around the traditional Gold Series!

The result is a chewy, medium-bodied flavor with hints of coffee delivered in a creamy, buttery fashion.

You gotta try them!

Disappointment – Drew Estate White Rabbit

My Opinion

I love Drew Estate Cigars, but the latest one I tried really disappointed me.

Maybe I am spoiled by the others (Dirt, Irish Hops, Tabak Especial) that have so much flavor.

This was a long smoking cigar, but there was no flavor.  Start to finish…..very disappointed.   I even let them sit longer in my humidor, hoping for a miracle.

Still the same, flat, dull taste.

Sorry, Drew Estate, this is one cigar I will not buy again.

Irish Hops – Wonderful!

My Opinion, My favorite cigars!

Last night I smoked one of Drew Estate Natural Cigar – an Irish Hops!

Oohh…this is one “long lasting” nice cigar!

Irish Hops, (known as ’the Hopper), is a complex, medium-bodied cigar that’s rich, silky-smooth, creamy, sweet, and booming with bold flavors. Wonderful!!!

This toro size, measuring 6″ x 52, combines an exotic mixture of unique tobaccos with Brazilian and Nicaraguan long-fillers. Patiently aged and masterfully blended, these leaves are then coated by a dark and oily San Andres Negra wrapper from Mexico.

The result:  complex from the first puff and enjoyable to the nub.

Try one soon! Your will be hooked!

Pimp Stick & Irish Hops – what do they have in common?

My Opinion

They are Natural!

As in Natural Cigars by Drew Estate!

Recently Cigar International had a wonderful sale on Drew Estate Natural Cigars.

Of course, I could not resist.  Not only did I buy the “Bargain of the Week”, I picked up a box of Dirts, which came with a free sample of 8 cigars:

2 – Ltd. Irish Hops: dark, rich, creamy, with a sweet finish; complex and medium in body. MY FAVORITE

2 – Ltd. Pimp Stick:  Cameroon wrapper; medium-bodied, major flavor; exotic blend; rich, smooth, subtle

2 – Extremely Limited Edition Acid 5:  Aged 5 yrs.   Made of broad leaf Maduro wrapper over a lush blend   of select black tobacco.  MY SECOND FAVORITE

2 – Another Acid, but not sure what it is – YET, but will be researching the websites

The Iris Hops one was wonderful!  As is the Acid 5.

The Pimp Stick just didn’t have the flavor, too bland for my taste,

and the other Acid (still remains nameless) was horrible.   I lit up, handed it to my husband, who immediately pitched it after one puff.

Maybe it’s a good thing I don’t know the name!!!!

All these cigars at listed between $8-10.    And as you see, price doesn’t effect whether they are good or bad tasting.   At least that’s my opinion.
