Where do YOU smoke in the Winter if you don’t smoke inside?
Great Places to Smoke CigarsThere are many cigar smokers like us, who do not smoking in their homes for many reasons.
So when the weather is “inclement”, say SNOW & COLD like here in Southwestern PA, where do you go to smoke your favorite cigars?
Here is what we do! We are on our SECOND “smoking” Tent! The old one lasted through last winter’s snow and cold, the spring and summer’s rain and heat, and the fall. But we had to retire it, and graduate to a bit larger one.
So here it is! Our smoking tent. Equipped with electric heater, radio, IP dock, and of course, CIGARS!
Tell us your unique place you smoke your cigars, and send a photo! Put your story in the comment section, and add the photo too! If you have any problems, just email me your story and photo, and I will post it!
I want to see how creative we Cigar Smokers are!
Carol
Steve Hurst is our first to tell us his “smoking” spot. Read his story in the comment section below! And check out Steve’s “Smoking Van!”
Drew Estate – Visiting the Leaning House!
Great Places to Smoke Cigars
While recently smoking at Leaning House Fine Cigars in Speers, PA, I asked Dave, the owner “when are the Drew Estates Reps going to visit?
He told me he was working on it…..and he was!
I got this email from Dave the other day!
“Ok folks believe it or not Western PA and more specifically Leaning House Cigars will be hosting a Drew Estate Event on Friday May 8 from 5-9 pm.
It has been a long process getting this event to happen but today Mike Staiber from Drew Estate has confirmed that he will be in “The House” to help us continue blowing the Tabak Especials AND Kubas Kubas out the doors.
More details to come as we get closer to May.
When Dave says he is going to do something, he is a man of his word! OF COURSE HE IS, HE SMOKES CIGARS!
Visit his website for more information at Leaning House Fine Cigars!
I got a Gift today!
Gifts I've received!I was heading out the door this afternoon and I tripped over a package.
What is this??? I didn’t order anything. It was probably for my husband.
So I brought it in the house and discovered MY name on it. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM
From Arnold’s Tobacco Shop in NY….hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
And inside:
Two of the most gorgeous looking cigars! God of Fire by Don Carlos 2006! But no card. It came from ?
I can’t wait to smoke them! I am sure they will be fantastic! I’ll let you know!
And a big thanks and hugs to the mystery person!!! (will you come forward?)
CAO Gold Maduro! Wow!
My Opinion, My favorite cigars! As some of you know, I am a fan of CIGAR BID and sometimes get carried away.
So when I saw they had 5 packs of the CAO Gold Maduro Corona Gorda up for auction, I jumped at the chance to get some!
I liked the CAO Gold and I love maduros, so what a great combination!
And I won the bid! $17.00 for these magnificent smokes!
What makes these so good, you ask?
CAO Gold Maduro combines the mellow long-filler combination of Nicaraguan tobaccos and wraps this dark and toothy Brazilian Maduro leaf around the traditional Gold Series!
The result is a chewy, medium-bodied flavor with hints of coffee delivered in a creamy, buttery fashion.
You gotta try them!
Disappointment – Drew Estate White Rabbit
My OpinionI love Drew Estate Cigars, but the latest one I tried really disappointed me.
Maybe I am spoiled by the others (Dirt, Irish Hops, Tabak Especial) that have so much flavor.
This was a long smoking cigar, but there was no flavor. Start to finish…..very disappointed. I even let them sit longer in my humidor, hoping for a miracle.
Still the same, flat, dull taste.
Sorry, Drew Estate, this is one cigar I will not buy again.

A gift from a Stranger at Tampa, Fla airport!
Gifts I've received!, Great Places to Smoke CigarsAfter a wonderful 3 day visit with some dear friends in Holiday Florida, we found ourselves sitting at the Tampa Airport eating lunch, wondering where/if we could smoke our cigars while waiting for our flight back to Pittsburgh, PA.
To our surprise, our waitress told us there was a smoking room!!!!
Wonderful! So we took off for the smoking room, which was more like a cage, built on the side of the building.
It was great!
As we enjoyed our cigars, we met other cigar smokers as well!
One gentleman even gave me one of his cigars!
It was a CAO gold. A really nice cigar! (Made by hand in Nicaragua, the soothing CAO Gold is blended from aged long leaves, including an exquisite wrapper made of Connecticut-seed Ecuadorian leaf, and Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler and binder. Silky, medium-bodied flavor that’s deep and complex.) I think you’d enjoy it as much as I did. THANKS AJ!!
BTW, AJ sat in the back of the plane with us flying into Pittsburgh. We called it the smoking section, but we could not convince the flight attendants to let us smoke, even after bribing them with fine cigars!
Oh well, we tried!

ps here I am, in the “CAGE” enjoying my Java Latte (by Drew Estate)
Wow, What a Bar! Cigar Bar that is!
Great Places to Smoke CigarsRecently we discovered the most wonderful place to socialize and smoke cigars!
Dave and Chris are two fantastic guys that, like us, love cigars and will NOT let the non-smokers have “their way” with us!
Visit their site, Leaning House Fine Cigars, then visit the Cigar Bar!
When I arrived to pick up my husband, I got the “grand tour”.
What a selection of cigars, so many to choose from, and at fantastic prices.
Accessories galore. What will they think of next?
Cigar smokers, this is a MUST place to stop, and smoke and have a really great time!
